Can anyone point me to a source to purchase an inline water trap for sjt water pumping? Much appreciated.

I have a few that were made from stainless storage containers. They have a clear lid if it matters. Containers, lids, and gaskets have held up fine almost three years with epsom salts mostly. You might need to bend the wire hinge and clasp occasionally. I have one that needs a little help occasionally, but the lid usually seals with just a small amount of hand pressure when using an electric pump. The others always seal.

Edit: oh, Amazon.

Here's what I use. It's under $20 on Amazon and it's made just for that purpose. You don't need any hose clamps or adapters because it's made to fit 1/4 inch inside diameter tubing. That's the standard size that's used to connect pumping cylinders.

Attached is a diagram of my setup. It's critical to keep the jar vertical when you use it. My "high tech" stand works perfectly.

I once got one that didn't seal well. The screw top leaked air, so it would lose vacuum pressure. I took the jar (after I cleaned it) to the locally owned hardware store and got an "O" ring to fit it. I think it cost about 75 cents. Photos are attached. When you need small things like this, avoid giant home improvement stores. Those kinds of stores typically have 50 assorted sizes in a bag for way too much money. All you need is one.

BTW, the Baomain silicone tubing that thboy uses is great! It doesn't kink like the standard vinyl tubing does. It doesn't slip off of beds and chairs, and it lays flat.
