Surgilube Changed something
I am not sure if you guys have noticed this those of you that inject SL into your cocks, but every since they went from metal sealed tubes to plastic flip tops, something is different. The SL injects differently, won't encapsulate now at all. Just stays in liquid form and inflames / irritates the under layers of skin like crazy. This has happened the last 4 times I've injected the new SL. Whether it was 5ml or 15ml or even the 30 I did the other week. None of it had encapsulated and my penis was swollen 2 inches bigger(10 in around midshaft with a huge bubble under the skin that was almost off to the right side). Then normal swelling for weeks. I ended up draining all the last 4 injections one by one to get my penis back to normal looking. each time it was just tons of un-encapsulated lymph fluid and a little bit of blood. The old Surgilube encapsulated in a few days and firmed up nice and thick. I've been getting mine off amazon, same seller for years. But the last 2 orders came flip top, plastic tubes with sealed foil caps. Tried another seller for the old stock 2oz tubes and they came metal foil. Injected with ease, minimal swelling and encapsulated in like 4 days. Nice and thick on top with 10 ml to bring me back up to 8.5in around. No pain or itching, compared to the plastic flip top injections which were itching like crazy and hot and red skin to the touch...looked like ulcerated skin... just looking for other people's opinions or experiences to see what you guys are seeing with the SL.

Looks like their MSDS sheets changed in 2015, 2017, and 2023. You might download them and do a comparison of the listed ingredients. Look for a date on the tube.
Anything that looks like a short group of random added-on-later characters is probably a date code, if it doesn't have the date in a normal format. A lot of vendors like to hide the manufacturing date for some reason, so they code the date. But there are only two or three common codes, and the web can probably find the right one.
I noticed a few vendor sites offer a choice between "laminated tube with flip-top cap" and "metal tube with screw cap." Some Amazon vendors even have specific listings for the screw cap metal tubes.

Hey, thanks for the info about the msds sheets I didn't think about checking there. You are probably right though something in the formula changed. I might have to look around and see if I can find any old stock of SL or finally bite the bullet and start injecting PMMA filler now that I know I love the thickness I have gotten from the SL over the years. I'll report back what I find out.

I actually kind of noticed the same thing this last round. Pumping seemed to dissipate it. May be worth to use the flip top one in the sac! I’m going to try that tonight. After all the fluid left in my cock I still cemented another .5” of girth gain for a 50 ml fill in the cock

I have only every used the plastic flip top kind. I didn't know there was another one. I did notice the last tube I got, I had a lot more swelling also. Just adding small amounts I got almost double my normal swelling. I was wondering why. Looks like they might have changed something. I'll look for the foil kind and see if that makes a difference.

Yeah I just injected 10ml from a new foil one. No issues so far. I am going to do a side by side and see now that I am aware of this.

Do you mind sharing the supplier you got the old version from. I got the screw cap ones and did an injection today and am noticing the same thing from the screw top
