Best place to buy dextrose - delivery to Ireland

Does anyone know where I can get dextrose delivered to Ireland? Want to give it a try.

Does it give different results to glucose?

Assume you're talk about infusion solutions? No, dextrose = glucose = C6H12O6

Ah OK thanks for that. I have glucose so I'll stick with that. Yeah I'm using it for infusions, I like the results but I find glucose 5% doesn't increase in volume a lot. I might try 10%.

5% glucose/dextrose in water is isotonic, so in theory won't cause any swelling. Some people swear it does, but the science says not. For swell you need a hypertonic solution so either 5% Dex in 0.9% Saline, or 10% Dex.

And of course my usual places only have 5% and 40/50%. Anyone have any links you can pm me? I'm looking for either 100ml, 250ml or 500ml.

Can you lead to/show me a guide for this. I’ve found one for saline, but I’d like one for glucose/dextrose too (for a beginner preferably)

Do the math: if you put 125ml of 50% dex into 1 L of 5% dex you will end up with 1.125 l of 10% dex

(1 x 0.05)+(.125 x 0.5) = (1.125 x 0.1)
