glucose

Post by gerardt »

hey all!
i am in no way trying to be rude or a smart ass but the glucose discussion has seemed to come to a halt. as experienced pumpers and inflators i feel a responsibilty to give only accurate information (what i have experience with) when asked. is this stuff safe or not? saline is a no brainer just make sure your practicing clean procedures. something that is natural to your body and doesnt require your digestive system to get rid of it sounds safe. i may be a fool??????
any thoughts or advicce on this???????????/

glucose

Post by bukyosanim »

On monday I gave my self a dextrose 10% injection (it was my first time). Dextrose is chemically similar to glucose. On sunday I will do it again but with pictures to show the progress. I injected about 325ml of dextrose 10% and with in a few hours I swelled up to about 800-900ml.

Some times saline stings, but dextrose did not sting at all. Also, I have noticed that when I put in 700ml or more saline I have a hard time sealing the hole. Here I injected the dextrose and easily sealed up. Then I inflated with no leaks. It also is absorbed more slowly so you stay inflated longer.

Questions about glucose/dextrose

Post by tlongland »

I really like the results people have reached, but I wonder about a few things:

1.) Can this sugar substitute cause a diabetic to go into a diabetic coma?

2.) Can using these substances cause a hypoglycemic to convert to diabetes?

3.) Does use of these substances negate the effects of a diet in any way?

4.) Will your cholesterol count go up by using this stuff?

Just some of the questions I've had.

I'm not a doctor but I someone close to me is a type-one diabetic. When she became hypoglycemic (low blood suger) the effect was for her to black out and nearly die. When the paramedics were called they shot her up with glucose and the effect was to send her blood suger level through the roof but literaly brought her back from the brink.

So yes, glucose can certainly affect a diabetic in a bad way. I don't know what the effect of dextrose would be. If you're a diabetic, or on the fringes of it, stay away from glucose.

If I have this right, a diabetic is hypoglycemic by a fault in the genes, the pancreas doesn't produce the chemical needed (insulin) for the body to break down food into the basic sugars. Insulin injections are required but too much insulin results in too much sugar in the bloodstream which is a hyperglycemic condition.

There are two types of diabetes; type one (born with it, needs insulin injections) and type two (the person has a bad diet and is likely to be overweight, can be rectified with proper diet).

I imagine that glucose abuse can be like pigging out on candy, cake, chocolate etc.

Cholesterol? I don't think sugar has much effect to a bodies cholesterol level, that has more to do with fatty foods I think.
Let me in!

I have a few questions myself.

1. Does it affect blood pressure?

2. what are the effects on the reproductive system?

3. since it is an injection I take it requires a prescription in the US. am I correct in assuming this?

4. what are the effects of the circulatory system?

5. What is the mathematics for calculating a dose for it?

Hi newart folks..

I also share the the interest and curiosity of saline fellas.
I want to learn the answers to these questions as well and skip the saline "era" and move on to glucose stuff,

but what I am more curious is, will " fructose" or other natural sugar components take over this dextrose, because it's more natural - it's present in nearly all fruits - and as easily reachable as dextrose.....
