my opinion!

1. never insert anything that you loose contact with!
2. stop immediately if it hurts!
3. only insert smooth, hygenically clean objects!

Start slowly!
Hi Wantitbig. Of course you do - what some of the guys on this site do is amazing - but take it slowly. I'm a newbie too. There's a constriction in the urethra - mine's about 20mm in - that's quite tough. Once you're past that it widens again and you're on your way. I can get 6.5mm in easily and can now get 7.5mm in after a bit of play.
I started out with an eyedropper, cleaned thoroughly and using vaseline - you can squirt a bit of lube as you go in. Now I have lots of toys and get a great buzz out of using them. See my post today under 'inserts anyone'. I still don't go for a lot of size as I'm not into a lot of pain - I just love the feeling and the look.
