Can sounds be made of brass?
I know they are usually stainless steel but brass is easier to work with. Does anyone know if the body can tolerate brass? Thanks!

dude!
from all the posts everywhere i would say that common sense about what you want to insert is up to your good judgement. but in looking at what is on the net even worms and insects are being inserted there! yike-a-rama!!!!!!!!! just really smooth stuff caths/sharpies/sounds th like. remember if it hurts alot its not good, if the hurt is interesting or feels yummy its probably good. be careful and i do it all the time!!

Using metals.
Brass is an not an inert metal. It is made of copper and zinc, sometimes with some tin (as with bronze, copper and tin) and other metals have been used too, such as lead or even arsenic. Know what you are working with. Copper is a natural germicidal. That's a plus. What is important is how your body reacts to it. Avoid nickel at all cost.
