Re: thboy’s full package pumping project
It is listed above. Check your holesaw sizes. I probably used a 3” holesaw to cut a 3-1/8” or so opening. Use a holesaw with a fine tooth pitch.
Cutting the plastic will be tricky. Need some experience to pick the best spindle speed. Manual downfeed only. I use a milling machine, a heavy drill press should work also. Also standard twist drills have a point for cutting metal. Be very careful with a metal cutting drill bit or use a bit with a point for drilling plastic. Be careful, here is more detail about the milling machine setup.
1. Place the 2 halves together
2. Install the thumbscrews and wingnuts loosely to make sure the halves align well. May have to move one half relative to the other to get the best thumbscrew alignment.
3. Visually center a 1/8” drill bit between any two of the thumbscrews.
4. Carefully tighten the wing nuts just enough to hold the 1/8” drill bit in position.
5. Make sure the fit/alignment is ok.
6. Remove the two thumbscrews that are on the opposite side from the 1/8” drill bit.
7. With the 1/8” drill bit vertical/upward, secure the sphere flanges into a milling machine vise.
8. Find the 1/8” drill bit center and align the milling machine chuck.
9. Feed the milling machine chuck down and tighten the chuck to the drill bit.
10. Look over the setup and make sure the drill bit is where you want it to be.
11. Rotate the chuck by hand until the 1/8” drill bit has finished cutting. Tighten the thumbscrews and turn the chuck by hand until the bit has finished cutting. Repeat this until the thumbscrews have been fully tightened.
12. Extract the drill bit.
13. Chuck up a 3/16” or 1/4” bit and increase the size if the hole drilled with the 1/8” bit using power from the spindle motor.
14. Increase the drilled hole size with progressively larger bits until you are at the size of the pilot drill on your holesaw.
15. Install the desired size holesaw to the milling machine chuck.
16. Start the mill on a slow speed and carefully feed the holesaw into the plastic.
Take the sphere out of the vise. Locate where your vacuum fitting should be. Carefully drill the vacuum fitting hole with a hand drill.
The plastic will be too thin for threads OR I hate those 1/8NPT fittings. I ream the fitting hole to 3/4” and install a bulkhead fitting.
By pure luck, I have made 4 of the 6” split spheres without breakage.
If I am able to work on the 8” next week, I will take photos.

Re: thboy’s full package pumping project
Have not had time to work on the 8” split sphere.
Was off work Thursday and Friday. Started pumping Thursday nite and have only taken short breaks and only a couple of longer breaks.
Pumped from 8:30 Thursday nite until 3:00 Friday morning. Pumped from 6:30 Friday morning until 2:00 Saturday morning. Started pumping at 5:30 this morning and expect to pump until early tomorrow morning.
Took 1-1/2 hours and went out for dinner last nite, will do the same tonite.
Used a 6” sphere until this afternoon. Started to alternate some and have been using a 2-1/4” tube for cock only and a 3” tube for cock/balls. Pumping nipples this afternoon.
Mainly using an aquarium pump to avoid too much vacuum and enable the 4 day pump session. My pulse pump will go under 25” when not pulsing.

Re: thboy’s full package pumping project
I started and almost finished an 8” split sphere this afternoon. The flanged hemispheres and other parts have been sitting here for two months. It is ready to use except for the gasket. I thought I had a piece of red 12x12x1/16 silicone gasket material left from my 6” split spheres but I only had a smaller piece. I ordered some 12x12x.04 red silicone sheet that has adhesive on one side and a piece without the adhesive. Will see which I like better when it arrives. I have four 6” split spheres like the one pictured earlier. The 6” split spheres have gaskets without adhesive. No problem, adhesive is not needed, just wanted to try it. Did not have time to take photos, will post a photo when I add the gasket.

Love the DIY on the spheres. wondering if you order them or where you are sourcing them?

Re: thboy’s full package pumping project
Thank you. I always enjoy working on projects.
The items in the photos all came from Amazon. The 6” spheres have a smaller opening than the 8” and larger spheres. I cut the openings in my 6” split spheres and 8” split sphere to the smaller size, about 3-3/16”. Done with a hole saw and a milling machine for stability.
I start the bulkhead fitting hole with an 1/8” or 3/16” bit then use a 5/8” tapered reamer and finish with a 13/16” tapered reamer. Reaming helps to avoid damaging the plastic v. drilling. I use a little clear silicone on the inner fitting gasket. The bulkhead fitting hole is done with an electric drill.
I use 10-24 nylon thumbscrews and nylon wingnuts.
I was disappointed that I did not have enough silicone sheet to make a gasket. I was looking forward to trying out the 8” split sphere yesterday.

"Currently unavailable.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."
They have the 1 meter, but I'm looking to get the 3 meter length again. Do you have any ideas where I can find it? Have you tried the other brands that they carry?

Re: thboy’s full package pumping project
Have not ordered any for a while. I searched for “1/4 silicone vacuum clear” and saw several options. I would suggest those would be equivalent. Looks like black, blue, and red are available too.
What I am calling clear is translucentish, not perfectly clear. The photos in the Amazon listings accurately shows the color. Time, UV exposure, and lube exposure will turn the color darker but it will still be translucentish.

I currently have some of the Baomain tubing and the semi-translucent color is fine. I prefer it over the other colors. I just want to make sure that any replacement tubing I get is as sturdy and flexible as the Baomain. The Baomain has been an outstanding upgrade and it's probably spoiled me for lesser quality stuff.thboy wrote: Sun Jan 11, 2026 10:23 pm Have not ordered any for a while. Re: thboy’s full package pumping project
I just updated my saline thread but did not have any new photos:

I am pumping most every weekend starting Friday nite as early as I can when I am at my weekend place. I am there most weekends. It took some time to accomplish but I am able to sleep while pumping overnite. Those sessions start around 7pm on Friday and last until about 8am on Saturday. I have outdoor work to do on Saturdays but I start pumping again around 7pm and pump until about 8am on Sunday. Sometimes I continue to pump on Sunday but usually have work to do. I alternate between pumping my cock and cock/balls. I try to pump as long as possible. With the exception of short breaks. I pumped over 18 hours a few weekends ago. I want to try m/l full time pumping the next time I can take several days off.
I am not sounding as much.
