I’ve been in the rice jar this evening, little bit disappointed in the result, but not using the electric pump (as I do in the actual tube these days) may actually make a difference by keeping the vacuum constant.

I think that if I want some bulk, perhaps I should just get a bigger proper tube, with a proper connector, rather than using the old “push it in and whip it out again” method
