I use a piece of foam that comes in a roll, from hardware store (I think it’s used in expansion gaps) cut that to length, glue the ends together with super glue to form the circle then I use bathroom silicon around the outside of jar opening, slip the foam circl over that (this secures the foam in n place) and use the silicone to then form a ring inside the foam onto the jar opening edge and inside opening , enough to cover all the glass that presses against the skin.
I use normal sorbalene cream on skin to form a good seal which also allows the skin to suck in further and feel comfortable.
