OK... I'm about to pull the trigger on NO2 inflation. I've done Saline alot abut I'm curious about NO2.
I have a few questions and wanted them in the same area for everyone!!
How long does NO2 last?
How long does CO2 last?
How long does it take to work up to a full cartridge? (obviously depends on stretching etc) (I personally can take 2 liters of saline so I'm stretched)
Any sealing issues different from saline?
Any recommendations to do or NOT to do?
Thank you in advance!!

Re: NO2 & CO2 inflation specifications / questions FAQ
In my experience both N2, and N2O can last nearly a week before it completely leaves the body (I think N2O absorbs faster than N2), both are very comfortable to use and don't cause any discomfort when inflating; however, if gases migrate into other parts of the body (legs, pelvis, abdomen, ribs), you will feel very sore. From what I understand, both N2O and N2 have a higher chance of causing an embolism if you inject into a vein.Curious271 wrote: How long does NO2 last?
CO2 leaves the body VERY fast. It is easily absorbed and evacuated by the body. I have done tight inflations of my entire genitals and within less than an hour, I'm practically back to normal. I find CO2 less enjoyable as it tends to burn/sting when you first start inflating, and when inflating the skin to tightness. I probably won't use CO2 anymore, personally.Curious271 wrote: How long does CO2 last?
I don't know and don't have a way to measure the volume of gas. I use 16g cartridges and am able to use each cartridge several times before replacing.Curious271 wrote: How long does it take to work up to a full cartridge?
Can't say, as I haven't tried saline infusions. Apply pressure for a few minutes and it should seal.Curious271 wrote: Any sealing issues different from saline?
Whatever you use to infuse, for the love of god just make sure you have some kind of regulator to control the pressure. Understand the equipment you're using and pay extra care to avoid pumping air into a vein. Use smaller needles (I have had the best experience with 24g catheter needles). I always use a flashlight when I first start infusing to help avoid veins/capillaries. One time I actually saw air bubbles traveling through a vein, in which I immediately stopped and quit infusing for the evening. I like to use syringe filters to hopefully make the process a little safer.Curious271 wrote: Any recommendations to do or NOT to do?

Re: NO2 & CO2 inflation specifications / questions FAQ
Hi there! Minor nitpick but it is an important distinction: N2O is not NO2, different chemicals. N2O is what you want to be using.
**EDIT: I may have forgotten that not everyone is interested in belly inflation. My advice comes from doing it into the belly with the goal of a whole body inflation. Most of my answers here do not apply the same to scrotal inflation - check the reply above for that.
N2O's visible effects last about 2 hours, with some lingering swelling after. However, a puffy feeling will remain for roughly two days.
I haven't done CO2, someone else will need to fill in for that
If by cartridge you mean a single 8g N2O charger, that's not a lot. You'll likely be able to do up to 8 carts on your first try especially if you've done it before. I've gotten around 20, but that includes gas loss to leaks. As for a tank, I've never been able to use a full tank in a single sitting - although that'd be a dream lol.
It's easier to seal since the gas is dry. Superglue or bandaids will work, or just hold pressure for ~1 min and it should seal
The usual recommendations for any sort of injection/infusion. Don't reuse needles, keep your equipment clean, etc. I would recommend trying with a box of 8g carts to start, and if you like it, switch to a tank and regulator to save on waste. Also, I have a better time with with larger gauge needles; there's less back pressure, better gas flow, and more flow pressure to make the gas spread further around.
I'm happy to answer any other questions you may have and look forward to seeing your results!
