Nipple pump advice

Heya.

Just started pumping my nipples on the daily and was wanting some advice from more folk.

Right now I use the simple twist pumps (no gauge or anything), adjusting them right before a little bit of pain. Twisting a quarter-half turn after it feels like i can do more.

Apply moisturizer to my whole breasts,
Use the pumps daily (1-2 hours in the morning, same at night)
Do an hour of breast pumping in the morning (stays at around 5hg the entire time)

Also, Should I go until my nipples are getting purple, long as they don't hurt?
