It varies person to person. Over my years of pumping it's been different partner to partner. And this is coming from the straight aspect. I think it's a mixed bag. In terms of looks, none of my partners really were fond of how the penis looks with a donut, it was much more fun for them in a more uniform shape, especially for oral. As most have commented, my wife prefers the harder prepumped cock but she gets turned on by the visual of it when pumped.
