WHen Pumping I get water blisters

Post by Ruggedlandsc@per »

Attention Forum users.

When i pump, and perhaps I overpump, b.c I was at a point, where I was just staying inside my pump... as a cooldown period, I slowly noticed I got a water blister. Should I pop, and wait for it to heal, or leave it? How long will it go away?

take more breaks and lower pressure. if your newer at this then low and slow... as for the blister it will take about 10 days or so to heal up roughly.
don't fret it all will be good. take it easy :)

Blisters are rather common and can be for a number of reasons, but yes. As mentioned above, that usually means you need to lower the pressure, shorten your sessions, take more breaks/massage, or all of the above. Pumping is largely about experimenting and finding out what works for your body. And unfortunately, that's all trial and error. For blisters, it's recommended you don't pop them. You have to wait for them to heal before you can safely pump again. It's also recommended that you keep the area moist, usually with some sort of antibiotic ointment or similar to aid in the healing process. Covering the area might also help and keep it from rubbing, popping, and getting irritated. This is especially so once the blister deflates and the skin might pull back from it. For me, blisters are nearly entirely caused by me overdoing it.
