I did this a little bit in my early pumping days last year, but I've basically stopped sounding since I discovered pumping.
I found that my urethra became very narrow from everything around it swelling up when pumping and sometimes I'd get a little bit of blood in my cum even though I experienced no pain, so I figured maybe my efforts would be best focused on pumping.

I've often pumped with hollow plugs, and a few times with rubber sounds. I have to use tape to keep the rubber sounds from squirting back out.

Sometimes, I use a dilator with a screw and pumping with water (wow, it's hard), or a dilator 6 to 10mm. but, I prefer use a uretal plug like that and fuck my peehole. And next when it's too easy.
