You guys have some great stuff, wow.  Here's the "Food Saver" jar I got at Wal-mart.  It is 8 " long and 3 3/4" in diameter.  I ended up fillng it up but it is meant to be a "stealth" jar and can innocently fit into your luggage.

Here's the result after 40 minutes in this little jar.  I didn't  expect this at all.

In looking back aat this thread, I noticed that while many great pics remain, most of mine were deleted.  I'm curious as to the why of this.  I'm curious, and really not complaining, but I don't understand the selection for deletion process.  Anyone?<br>

Yup, time for a bigger tube since you are packing that one full.  Nice one  :P

I've made a tube out of a Costco nut jar. You know, those round jars that you find at Costco filled with either nuts or candies. You can add an attachment at the bottom (female connector), use a PumpToys rim and you have a nice stealth unit that can go on airplanes easy enough if you take a plastic hand pump, not one of the brass ones. Save the original lid, put nuts or candy back into the jar and stick it in your luggage. No questions from inspectors.

edit correction. I've finally put a picture up on this Costco cheapie. Epoxy the female connector through a hole that you make in the bottom.

Anyone made a new tube lately. Here's one (posted before) that was made from a plastic nut jar found at Coscto. Epoxy a female connector in the bottom and pump up. Cost? Free if you eat the nuts inside.
