I inflated my scrotum with air and am now afraid of the consequences; I squeezed the medical bulb about eight times.

I am not a medical expert. You can wait if it disapears by absorbation oder help with a small pinch of an 18 G needle for example and press the air out. Work sterile and put a band aid on it afterwards. Or go and see a doctor.

In the end, I did go to the doctor; he said that the worst-case scenario would have been an infection introduced by the needle, whereas the air itself would have naturally been absorbed by the body.

Naturally, he said that everything depended on the condition—he couldn't say anything right away—and told me to get an ultrasound and come back.

If unsterile air or fluid enters the scrotum—whether through improper medical procedures, injuries, or home infusion attempts—this is a critical medical emergency with a high risk of life-threatening infection (Fournier's gangrene) or an air embolism. This information is for general knowledge, is not medical advice, and you should consult with a healthcare provider. You must call emergency services or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Why This Is DangerousRapid Tissue Infection: Unsterile air or fluid introduces bacteria directly into deep tissue. This can cause necrotizing fasciitis (flesh-eating disease) in the scrotum, which spreads rapidly and causes fatal sepsis (blood poisoning).Pneumoscrotum: Air trapped in the scrotal tissue causes severe swelling, extreme pain, and can cut off blood flow to the testicles, leading to permanent tissue death.Air Embolism: If air bubbles enter damaged veins, they can travel to your heart or lungs, potentially causing sudden cardiac arrest, a stroke, or a fatal blockage. What To Do Right NowSeek Emergency Care Immediately: Do not wait for symptoms to worsen.Do Not Press or Squeeze: Do not attempt to push the air out or drain the fluid yourself. This will only push the bacteria and air deeper into your tissue or bloodstream.Minimize Movement: Stay as still as possible while waiting for medical help to reduce the risk of moving air bubbles through your circulatory system.Medical professionals will need to administer intravenous (IV) antibiotics, perform imaging scans, and potentially perform minor surgery to safely remove the air or fluid and prevent tissue death. To help provide the most relevant information while you seek help, could you tell me:Are you currently experiencing severe pain, fever, chills, or a crackling sensation (crepitus) when touching the skin?Have you already contacted emergency services?

Don't use ambient air. It takes forever for your body to absorb it (mostly Nitrogen), it causes aches and discomfort if it moves to other parts of the body. It's got unfiltered dirt, dust, bacteria. That's on top of the bacteria from the injection site if you weren't being methodical about sanitation and disinfecting the area.

It's a bad time. Lesson learned, don't do it again. There's plenty of people on this website (including myself) who have tried air and it's not worth the trouble.

Just copying and pasting whatever an LLM spits out is useless, and the fear factor is way overblown.

Air inflations are often seen as the most unsterile forms of inflation out there simply because you're using ambient air. Which can have all sorts of pathogens potentially in it on top of just the general risk of infection from an injection site anyway. Which isn't completely zero even in the most sterile of conditions. Which along with how the body has to reabsorb it, also isn't a good idea. But really, aside from discomfort and if it's only a small amount, it's generally okay as long as there is no infection. A lot of discomfort and pain after certain abdomen surgeries is a lot of times due to the air that gets trapped in between the membranes around your organs and your skin. They try to get most out, but it's just physically impossible to get it all out. So your body has to absorb it to get rid of it. Being you're in a more sterile environment in a surgery, again the biggest risk is just the potential rate of infection because of the procedure itself. I've had this happen a few times during saline infusions being too overzealous with starting an infusion and not paying close enough attention to the IV line and not purging it well enough or at all prior to starting an infusion. So I've had a small amount of air get in. A small amount like that will be mostly gone in a few days max. Just pay attention for any sort of signs of infection. I'd just take it as a word of caution to anyone else that either does this out of experimentation or it happens on accident during any sort of infusion. So again like others have said, it's not worth the potential side effects to use ambient air. If you're going to use gas rather than saline, food grade N2O is probably the only other safer route. To me personally, I'd rather stick to 0.7 saline solutions due to it's makeup and it being the same relative chemical makeup as the salt water your body uses anyway and it's designed for injection.

I'm glad you are supposed to be ok but man that ball under your cock head looks awesome. Or doughnut if you will. I love when I get a doughnut on mine with pumping.

It’s been three days, and there hasn’t been any pain or anything like that. There’s nothing at the injection sites, either. I’m definitely not doing this again.
