How did you get this to seal properly? Or how big did you have to pump before you could get into this?

I have this IKEA jar and cannot seem to get a good seal to pump in it.

I have found the same thing, there is too much difference between the Ikea vase and a jar with the Pumptows seal. I liked the shape from a bunch of pumping with the Ikea, but am back in the Oxo with the Pumptoys seal for my evening session today, and while it feels tight, it is easy to get sealed up where the Ikea was quite unmanageable this morning after putting in I thought quite a bit of time in it yesterday and had a handle on the Ikea.

I guess the Ikea is more for when you have the time to get really huge and can pump up a bit with a smaller set up. I have a big mason jar with a 4 inch opening, I should probably try that without the Pumptoys seal and see where I get with it...

I'm kinda a sucker for long sessions with low pressure when I get the chance. I'lll sit in the Monster Tube or Ikea jar for 1.5 to 2.0 hours at a time at like 3-4 PSI with pressure peaks. Drink beers and get stoned while gooning to Porn. I guess I kinda trance out and just accept the feelings but there's never pain just crazy pleasure spikes. It has taken years of pumping with long breaks in between to get like this, I hop in the STJ and a good session pack it in 2.0 hours or a lil more. Really try to go all out when I can love the feelings too much lol!

Id probably try to pump with a 4 inch opening until it's pretty packed, then up upto a 5 inch opening jar and then from there when that is packed try the IKEA jar

My only issue is that I don't have a hole at the top of the IKEA jar because I don't want to break it (even though this would be the most optimal but just don't know how do do it) I've got a thin tube that I've tried to enter at the opening but I've never got the seal to stick. So I'm gonna try working up with the openings over one long session.

You can use a glass/tile drill bit to put a hole in the glass, CAUTION in the whole prosses with eye protection and a slow and steady hand will do the job. I've done it a half a dozen times. You can use masking tape on the inside and outside to prevent the drill bit from chattering and cracking the glass as well. Good luck !!

Hey man thanks for the advise, means alot. I'm definitely gonna try this and see how it goes. Only question is where would you suggest the best place would be to drill the hole? Like on the top of the jar or on the side?

And in terms of the tape do you mean cover the inside and outside of where you want to drill. Not the entire jar right?

I like to put the hole on the side so you can stand the tube up when your not in it. I have two home made tubes both glass that I use on a regular basis , my 4.5 X 12 and my 6 X 10 with silicone seals and I always wet pump . If you go through this thread there are many pics of the tubes in use. Also some of my home made ball straps built for comfort.
What works for me is to stay warm and hydrated , I use a space heater on the glass that keeps the water warm which in turn transfers to the body for a faster growth.
