Veteran pumpers I need your advice please

I want to start pumping. I’m confused on the type of pump I should get - electric or hand pump, best brands, water or air pump (benefits of each?) and beginner pumping protocol? Thank you!

You’ll probably get a lot of different answers based on preferences.

Just to get started I’d say a cheap “Size Matters” tube off Amazon and the cheapest “brake bleeder” hand pump.

Just keep the pressure between 3-5 mmHg for safety. I only come out of the tube if I’m losing my erection or my color changes dark enough I know I need fresh blood. Start with shorter sessions but as long as you don’t get too sore or red dots then add time.
