Can you share links to what you buy on amazon? Curious also how you make your own HA serum...do you just dilute some powder in cold water or is it more involved? Thanks!Someguyoverthere wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2024 4:42 am I pump with water that has hyaluronic acid mixed in. Make my own serum with powder from Amazon, significantly cheaper.
I mainly use Alaffia Shea butter and coconut oil, as well as a few of their other products. I also have started using Bio Oil products. Alaffia is great while pumping, but bio oil is not because it contains mineral oil which can negatively affect tubes.
Here are the links. Also I have started using a mix of castor oil, beeswax, and vitamin e oil for a lube between skin and seal/tube. The castor oil and beeswax have a significantly lower skin absorption rate, which means it won't dry out as fast. The vitamin e is just for skin health.bign1212 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 3:36 amCan you share links to what you buy on amazon? The scent is the smallest issue. 90% of conditioners contain silicone which will destroy silicone seals. Especially the more affordable ones. (Look for ingredients ending with -cone or -xane like Dimethicone, Cetearyl methicone, Polysiloxane, Dimethicone Copolyo)
