Bubbles in IV Line

I did a 500 mL Dextrose Infusion about 90 minutes ago. I thought I had cleared the line, but when I started the infusion, noticed a few bubbles go inside the body (like 5-6 small bubbles). Should I be concerned? Has this happened to anyone else?

We're coming up to two hours, and I feel fine. I just know that there are risks with air getting into the body. Thank you!

That little amount of air is negligible especially since you are not infusing directly into the veins you will be fine.

Yea, air embolisms are bad but you need closer to a full 10ml - 20ml syringe directly into the bloodstream to do that. You’re ideally pushing air into a cavity which is much much less of a concern.
