If it’s a blister, then yeah.

If it’s a blood spot, then you may be prone to them. They don’t cause any damage, but it’s a sign that your either pumping for too long, or at too high a vacuum (or both)

Buy some antiseptic cream, every household needs it anyway, when you get blisters, sometimes I still do after 19yrs pumping, when I get over enthusiastic, smear them with a small amount as they burst and they heal in a couple days and you avoid any infection, also wear clean undies to be sure all is good
