Tryed a rubber ball ring in the tube for stretching

Yes Frank.
It works on a pressure slip ring on the stainless shaft.
Push it down and the pressure of the ball sack pulling back up locks it in place.
The shackle is just for extra length.
Works ok but if it gets bumped the wrong way it releases.
There may have to be a mark 2 one day
