I decided to cut my frenulum as I want to be able to pull my foreskin completely back. I am not circumcised and I don’t have a breve. I’m doing it purely for pleasure.
I tied it yesterday, no anaesthetic. I actually liked the feeing, to the point I did a second tie. I got a little scared and pulled that out. It looks a little messy right now, but it feels good.
No my questions:
With the first tie, the frenulum is now released. How do I remove the frenulum? How far down should I go?
Remove it? I'm not sure why you'd need/want to. Once it's been separated from the glans, your foreskin is free.
If you really want to remove all the skin from the frenulum, that's your choice, but I'm pretty sure that would require stitches and would remove a lot of sensitive skin. Is that what you want?
So, once I cut it, is it more about stretching it over time? I ended up cutting it tonight. No real pain, and my foreskin is definitely more free already, although, pulling it back, it is still pulling a little, and I’d like to get it as free as possible, if I can.
Ahh I see. Well it looks great already, but typically it takes multiple cuts to completely separate it from the glans. No need to remove skin, just repeat what you did as many times as you like. I did mine by tying and it took 4 rounds for it to be completely free.
I figured out where to do mine by pulling the frenulum away from the shaft, and seeing where it attached below the glans, then placing the cut as close to the shaft as possible. Picture "peeling" the skin off the shaft like a banana peel if that helps.
Ah! So I pull the skin away. First cut at the top (or would it be purpendicular to the lines I drew - cut from the outside edge to the shaft), following down the shaft, let it heal, second below, the third below that, as far as I want to go?
Yup, exactly! Just take it a little at a time and that will make sure you won't run into healing issues (a cut that's too big can "pull" a lot of skin into itself, undoing some of your work).

I ended up with no flap. As wufas says, the skin will stretch out and flatten.
Attached is a pic of mine. There is the tiniest ridge of skin but it's soft, blends in with the raphe, and is otherwise unnoticeable.
