I was wondering if anyone can recommend some books and manuals for piercing? I am really wanting to get into the business but don't want to apprentice until i get a few simple ones under my belt. I can get the supplies for everything i need but all I lack is the knowledge of how to do it (even though i can guess at some of it). Looking to do my own piercings also. Please can anyone help?

I have most of the issues of PFIQ, Piercing Fans International Quarterly, which has how-to articles about different piercings. Most states now require some sort of occupational licensing to begin a piercing business. There are many issues with health that need to be addressed. I will attempt to list one article here for you. You may be able to just click on the posts to enlarge for better reading.
