i had noticed that instead of silicon catheter, the hole get close much more fast (and naturally) when using a metal needle (0.8 gauge)... a bit blood is always welcome to close the hole... just do a bit compress on it and wait some minutes in quiet place, without moving

Yes, I have experienced the same thing. I had used a 16 gage catheter and put a pretty large blob of Super glue gel on a small band-aid and pressed it firmly over the hole. After 3 or 4 months, the blob of hardened glue finally worked its way up near the surface of the skin and I was able to pick it out - kinda like removing a splinter.
Since then, I've used 19 gage needles and very small amounts of super glue and the problem has not happened again.
