I have heard about inflating the ball sac with air but have always thought that this must be pretty dangerous. Has anyone had any experience with this or know if it is safe??

that's the only way I do it, it's free to do after you buy a fishtank airpump, I puncture my skin with a sharp tack and then use the airpump to force air through the puncture, as long as there's no blood. trouble is air migrates easily, with me, if I inflate too much, air gets into my abdominal cavity, and if I overdo it too much, and the air gets near my vocal chords, I sound all nasaly until the air is absorbed, but, besides that, I haven't had any health issues from it.

yes it is DANGEROUS!!! for one you need medical quality CO2 and the right equipment to inflate and then DEFLATE. So unless you have access to a Hospital's or a medical lab's equipment forget about it. because if you get an air bubble in your blood stream you are dead.

It seems there is a difference of opinion here, I have seen pictures of people pumping up with a ball inflator, and others mentioning using gas - CO2 i think. maybe both are right, it is dangerous, it is best to use surgical gas and equipment, but crude methods are not too dangerous!!!!!
anyone else with any feedback??

youll probably find that saline is a cheaper and safer method than all that messing about with co2. although it can be done there is a video of it on bmevideo.

I've only tried it with air, maybe about 5 times. I just pinch the scrotal skin and put a needle through it near the top of the pinch. As I'm pushing it through, if it hurts then I stop. Some areas of the scrotum don't hurt at all to puncture. I find a spot that doesn't hurt, then after pushing the needle through the top of the pinched skin, there is practically no blood...just a little hint of red mixed with the tiny amount of salt water that comes out, which stops shortly after. I then connect the pump to the hole in the pinched skin and inflate...then I do the other side.

I don't recommend this, though. The affects last for about 2 weeks, which is why I haven't done it in a year. During that time, the air wanders through your upper body. It usually wanders up my sides and can be uncomfortable while sleeping.

Maybe I've been lucky not getting an infection, but I just don't think its extremely dangerous when there is only a hint of blood. The tiny hole heals up in no time and soon there is no sign it ever existed. I've done this about 5 times so I have put around 20 holes in my scrotum.

What might be happening to some people is they hit one of the small red vein lines in the scrotum, which I always make sure to avoid.
