Dasher, pumping together is far better than being on your own, all 3 of us were at it ....
She's currently, from what i've just seen in a 3" tube and already looking better.

Been a bit rough since i got back from the caravan, Absolutely knackered, cold and no energy. best part of 2 weeks with no one obvious thing, just generally weary. Did manage a session in the 70 last weekend but ended up with a big purple patch on the bottom of the sac. Didn't look good. not happened before either. Probably pushing it for the state i was in, dunno. Either way it's enforced a bit of a lay off and eventually balls dropping and the weight back on. last 3 days, 2 1/2 lb of finest stainless. Lasat night after a good soak in the bath i had an excelent drop on them but the phone was downstairs, bugger. Down at the caravan, Thursday and Friday nights after a shorter session in the 70 i jumped into the refurbished and extended big tube and very nice it was. No pics unfortunately but it'll be back on again.

The Friday evening at the van, the 3 of us went up to the pub for food and a couple of pints. 'J' dressed for the trip out ....

I had to get back home on the Saturday. J & A stayed until the Sunday and made use of the sunshine ....

All of us, the wife included, will be back down there for Easter, hopefully the weather will be nice.....

Big invoice to do late this afternoon. it's been in and out for weeks, getting on the ramp when i had the space for it so a lot of scribble to decypher so thought while i'm in a nice warm office .....

And, J & A have been at it today as well, J using her new 3" tube ....

Sunday and the house to myself and into the 70 for breakfast ....

Later, and planning the big tube, i had no idea what sort of time the girls were coming back so de-camped to the office where i had these to tube up...

A repaired tube built years ago. i was just going to sleeve the bottom and fit another base plate but didn't see the point in halving the bit of tube i had so extended it a bit to give a bigger vac' reserve. Looks a bit Heath Robinson and not the best looking tube i've ever come up with but it works, and , i don't care ....

In that tube again yesterday but in a lot later than i'd really have liked ( work) so didn't get as long as i'd have liked .
Looking at it this morning, put it on for the warm, looked up and saw the MTj and thought bugger it, i'll swap them.
In the past ive always looked at the big tube as a pre-curser to the MTj, think now it might be the other way round....
You'll probably notice it has the smallest of leaks as well which was annoying. Luckily it can only be one joint which is an original joint from when it was first built so i should be able to get that sorted without too mutch hassle.
Off down to the caravan on Thursday night for a while so i only have 3 days and hopefully, if we get chance, a bit of size carried over for j to get her hands on .......

Back to Sunday for a little bit and while i was in the office, J & A were on with a bit of decorating at home.

Monday night bed time for me after a session in the big tube that afternoon

Unfortunately, big balls need more sac around them so there's a loss of length. I'll just have to persevere i suppose ...
