I am also looking into doing this. I agree the simple incision seems to be the best way. I am still unsure about bleeding and recovering. Luckily from what I have heard there is no need to suture, as glans swell which helps hold it together.

The base? I'm not sure what you mean.

Based on what I've seen and read about this mod doing a lateral incision is an advisable procedure over piercing and stretching. The hole may need to be as large as 3 or more cm's (an inch or more). That's a lot of stretching from a 18 to 16 gage piercing. I believe better success would come from making an incision, packing it off or suturing the edges, and allowing it to heal. JMTC, so best of luck with the procedure.

That may be true! I'm totally new to piercings so I have no idea how easy/hard it is to stretch them. But I figured, it's skin, it's gotta be easier to stretch than cartilage... right? I don't know lol

I was thinking of tying a loop at the base of the D_ck and then removing the skin there.
Would than shorten the skin after the procedure?

I'm sure I saw something about a circumcision done in this way before? It was experimental and allows you to retain all of your foreskin by removing skin at the base of the shaft. But I believe they had to keep your penis engorged with fluid the whole time to make sure the erect result is what you want, and that presents complications of it's own.

Small but positive update time: the piercing is pretty much fully healed now. Went up from 16ga to 14ga with no difficulty or stretching needed. Now I can start the stretching!

Been a while, huh? At the beginning of last year, I stretched up to 6ga, but stayed there for about a year. Earlier this year I decided to get more rigorous about stretching, and I got up to 4ga (5mm), then as of a few weeks ago, 2ga (6mm).

I can fit a silicone tunnel in it now! I can see through my foreskin hole! It's so hot.

Working on getting to 0ga (8mm) but it's a big jump up from 2ga. Going to use the Teflon Tape method where you wrap PTFE tape (the kind for pipe threads) around the piercing to gradually increase its diameter. Hoping to get to 0ga by the end of the month.

I feel like the stretching is accelerating. That makes sense, since the more skin you have, the more skin there is to stretch. It's like compounding interest.

Up to 0ga now. The PTFE tape method worked super well. Wasn't really expecting it to stretch that fast but I'm not complaining!

Yep 8mm. And it's already feeling loose!

A slit is how it's traditionally done, and that would be a lot faster, but I wasn't sure if that would interrupt any nerves. I've never seen anyone else do what I'm doing, so I don't know if I'm the first!

Sorry, you're not the first to modify your cock this way. Your way is a piercing that you are stretching. Other ways are to cut a slit ie: a buttonhole. Here's other threads about a buttonhole mod. Some cut, some pierced.

If I had foreskin over my cock I'd have done this mod yeas ago myself. Oh well, I'll just be happy with my sub.
