lol I think getting the gender dysphoria diagnosis and being taken off testosterone and put on estrogen is likely enough to label me as trans. I’m already having some breast growth.

Just had my urethral reroute done on Wednesday had to stay overnight due to excess bleeding. My scrotum is very swollen which those of you who have followed this thread would know cause I’m castrate. Pain hasn’t been too bad sitting has been uncomfortable mainly due to the location of the wound. I’ll get the catheter out on the 6th of August which after wearing for 4 months I’m very excited about. I’m a little surprised about how large of a hole they made almost looks like a vagina. I’ll post a photo once things are healed and the swelling is down.

I'm sure there will be shrinkage with healing. Mine ended up being about ⅓ to ¼ the size of when it was first cut.

I was wondering about that thank you for sharing I was a little concerned about having such a large hole.

may i ask how much depth did thet give you, will it be functional

Was the opening sutured? If it was then the shrinkage may be less. I do know that because of the thickness of the urethra below the balls (in the bulbous area) the hole would need to be larger in order to be functional. That was one reason that I abandoned my desire for a reroute below my scrotum and settled for one at the top of my scrotum.
Assuming the catheter is out by now...How is the stream when you pee?

I’ve got one more week with the catheter and it was sutured. Hopefully the stream will be good. I’ll post once I know.

The only possible issue I see is that males don't have much gap between their legs so unless the legs are spread apart the flow might be restricted by the sides of the opening getting pushed together.

Well the doctor created a bit of a channel for me that directs the pee forward sort of towards the bottom of my scrotum and besides when you sit on the toilet seat it naturally spreads your butt cheeks a little to prevent your legs from restricting the flow.
My biggest challenge is learning to aim or get a nice stream sometimes I have it sometimes I just pee down one butt cheek or the other.
My other problem is retraining my bladder to hold it longer after having a catheter in for 4-5 months it’s used to being nearly empty so I’m having to pee often and retrain my bladder to learn to hold it longer.
