Pump activity seems to be ruled by Sod's (or Murphy's) Law. Here are some of my observations:
1. All pumping is unpredictable; the best sessions happen when you least expect them and the sessions you anticipate the most are disappointing.
2. Phone or doorbell goes at a critical point (usually the end of a set) and
3. Tube time passes too quickly; no pump session ever seems long enough.
4. The part of the jar that needs cleaning most is an awkward-to-reach spot.
5. No photograph ever seems to do your meat any true justice.
6. Donald colonises your Newart thread and then people lose interest.
