Best Way to Inflate Shaft With Saline

Hi all, looking for advice for the vets that like inflating shaft only or mostly.

Over the years I have done shaft infusions exclusively and more than scrotal infusions, but they take forever(1.45 hrs for 1L with pressure cuff with 19g butterfly) and burn like crazy, I did scrotal only for first time a couple of months ago and I was shocked when I took 1L easily in just 30 mins with barely and pain but none of it migrated to the shaft on its own.

Which method would be best to inflate shaft without directly infusing it? I've heard that you can:

-Infuse at the base right where the shaft skin meets the scrotum on the underside. Basically standard infusion spot but much higher.
-Infuse a bit lower for safety then pump afterwards into the shaft

Feel free to share your method.

I just use a tie off and grab another liter.
When I do go in the shaft its towards the top but I have an odd piece of scar tissue there that works like a needle valve so I can't comment on where to put it in normally. The skin is much softer/thinner there and you might leak more.
I also use a pressure infuser whenever I do saline, can speed things up.

Yeah I always use a pressure cuff haha I have zero patience.

When you mean the top, you mean the top of the scrotum at the base of the shaft?

No I mean up towards the head, kinda above the middle part. I've inflated the glands a few times doing that.

Ah ok, thanks for the input, I actually did try that before as I am uncircumcised but it took even longer and would stop flowing.

Huh I've done 2 liters through the shaft through my one spot it would just migrate down granted the pressure in the shaft can become a bit extreme at times.

I dunno maybe it comes down to technique, do you go very deep or just under the skin? How long does it take you for 1L?

Cause for me scrotal is not as exciting as shaft personally.

I always use a 19g and a pressure cuff so I'm not sure why it takes so long. But yeah the pressure does get pretty high when trying to infuse with any kind of speed. It's also hurts alot as well hence the reason for this thread. I don't really feel save using Dex either...

Depends. I use a 23 gauge one inch needle in the sack and a 5/8 inch one on my one spot on the shaft. 1L can be like 30 or 45 minutes or so, slower in the shaft because of the discomfort. I exclusively prefer n2o through my shaft spot because of its sealing features, more exciting and lets me include my partner in the play.

I don't do saline in the shaft often because yes it can be painful. What helps me control the stretch/pain is this medical tape, its very thin and when used helps "hold" the skin back. When I tried dex in the shaft and didn't use it I my skin stretched too much. It leaked bad and I developed a flat tear on my shaft, it scabbed over the next day. Took a few weeks to heal but was no biggy I've self-cared worse injuries lol.

Oh wow, yeah I had a similar issue when I did scrotal for the first time but it was because I kept ripping off the water proof bandage to try to apply pressure because I was leaking.

Gorilla Super Glue Gel works wonders to stop leaks just sayin

Yeah I've heard, feels odd using something industrial on exposed wounds though. I just bought medical skin glue though, but I've never used it. Planning on infusing next weekend so will try it then.

The gel glue doesn't flow, it sticks. So I pinch the area around the needle and apply, dried fast and zero burn or anything.

I've done several myself over the years, granted it's been a while since I did one. I have some supplies coming here in the next week, maybe i'll try it again. But when I did it. I use 20G cath needle with the IV sheath. Flows a lot better for me and I start way up at the top where my cock meets my body and a bit off to one side. That seems to have worked alongside a tie off. It just gets to be a bit touch sometimes getting the tie off and needle placement just right to where they don't hit each other. I saw someone infuse into the fat pad right above their cock and gravity takes the saline down into the scrotum and migrates to the cock too. I may try that at some point also. But largely, up at the top side, base of the cock is where I've always done it at. No pressure cuff or any of that. Just let gravity do it's thing.
