It almost looks like you’ve maxed out your cup, well done! We all look at jars and tubes and pretty much any cylinderical shape with an eye towards vac pumping.

My latest search was for “how to drill a glass jar” for a vacuum fitting.

I use a modified aquarium pump (the tetras are easiest) for hands free pumping! They are tolerant to leaks and around 7”hg is the capacity. See instructables on a how-to. Capacity is roughly the same as a hand pump.
