Hey y’all. I recently got into pumping and love the feeling of a huge donut and the bloat that comes with it. My problem is that the results are very inconsistent where sometimes I get a big donut after 2 hours, sometimes barely any bloat until 3 hours in. Things I’ve tried:
- wrapping heating pad around pump during session
- soaking penis in warm water in between sets
- going in flaccid vs semi erect vs erect
- no heating pad
- 20 min sessions with 5-10 minute breaks in between
Has anyone found the secret to making the results consistent and improving on them? I’ve yet to be able to find a pattern in my own pumping as sometimes the heat gives me bloat and other times it doesn’t.

Re: Inconsistent bloat / donut
Your increases will always vary. Dependent on your body composition. it's temperature your hydration level your heart rate. The duration and intensity of your session. Gap time between sessions. How horny you are. Stimulation level. Stress. And I think your food intake. I do not want to make it sound to scientific, everyone is different. There is no secret. You just need to spend the time and see what works best for you.
You said you are new. My immediate thought was the diameter/size of your tube.

Re: Inconsistent bloat / donut
Just starting out, there is a ton of finding out what works for you. Largely, decreasing the donut comes down to several things based on what I've experienced, plus the experiences I've read on here. Everyone pumps up differently. Largely once the donut starts to form, you have to start doing steps to minimize it to a degree. The narrower the tube, the easier it is to counteract the donut by forcing the fluids to spread out more evenly. Heat and soaking really only affects skin pliability. Not preventing a donut. If anything, it actually increases the chance of it forming. Hydration as mentioned, also has a lot to do with bloat. The more hydrated you are, the easier it is for your body to pull intramuscular fluids to the area. The short answer is, there's really no way to get rid of it or even entirely prevent a donut. It's just something that comes with the territory, but making it work for you is kind of the best way to go about it. Or you can try some of these below that I myself have also tried from suggestions others have listed on here over the years.
The best ways I've experienced to prevent a donut, to me are as follows:
1) Decrease the amount of time in the tube.
2) Use a narrower tube.
3) Decrease the amount of pressure in the tube.
4) Massage down the donut between sessions (most effective way I've found)
5) Wrap the area with a constriction wrap of some type. (some say even using a condom can do that, but never tried that to confirm).
6) Pumping wet (in warm water) can decrease the speed in which it happens and a more uniform shape.
But really it comes down to you personally, and even the days you pump. Some days I pump up really fast, others it takes a long time. You just have to be patient and don't try and force anything. If you're having a stubborn day of it, it's a sign to maybe take it easy. Pumping is a lot of feeling stuff out and feelings
