Hello, I am a 24 year old boy who has started my journey with ky gel, I have been doing saline and glucose for years and I wanted something more permanent, I would love to have silicone but I am very afraid of the negative consequences it could have, ky gel seemed like it to me a little safer as far as possible, today I started with 2ml to test how my body reacted to it, it has been a moment of great anxiety during the injection, I have disinfected everything and I have carefully filled the syringe with ky gel, everything I did it on a sterile base, even so I'm worried because the contents of the base are no longer sterile, I hope so. My intention was to inject 5 ml but in the end I only did 2, because I got very nervous and decided to stop, once I punctured I did an aspiration to check that no blood was coming out, I used a size 20 needle and very slowly pushed in the 2 ml, I stopped. because I wanted this to be an allergy test, tomorrow I will try to do the 5 ml or even 10 ml, I wanted to see how it grew and how it reacted, tomorrow I will check that everything is still fine, if you want to give advice or share experiences, I am delighted

Sounds like a safe first go. I'd recommend giving it 4-5 days before deciding to add more. KY and Surgilube take a few days to settle.

I suggest at min 7-10 days. Sometimes it can restart encapsulation when you least expect it. Those amounts shouldnt cause a fever. 30-40+ (each side) will cause a fever reaction.

Good job. You will bruise for the first few injections until you get the depth placement right. Heck I still bruise after years of injections from hitting little capillaries that are hard to see under the skin.

i think they all fill directly with KY and not a mix. You can fill liek 10ml first and then fill with KY

The more you mess with it the greater the chances of contaminating the mixture. Shoot in straight KY or Surgilube straight from the tube and it will be sterile. Wipe the tube down completely with 90% isopropyl alcohol first to sterilize the tube. Don't mix anything with either KY or Surgilube.
