Re: 3D print files
So i make sure the measurements are correct, i'm not very good on 3D modeling.
I modeled it on an very simple way so its not made to be adjust but you can try if you want.
balls spheres have an inner diameter of 13cm.
the tube has an inner diameter of 5cm.
wall thickness is 3mm tube part has 9mm.
the cock part begins aprox. 3cm from the opening.
seal thickness is 1cm.
holes for fittings should be pre threaded with 1/8''.
designed to fit an Bullmaster seal.
seal for the 3 separate parts need do be made and clamp down with paperclips or make holes for screws.
you can edit it online on ThinkerCAD it's an online based modeling program very simple.
You can group and ungroup the parts that make them up.

Re: 3D print files
I would pay someone to make me one of these..........anyone able?Pumping Now wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 2:50 pm Here's one from the thread 'Ideal Tube Design'..
This was from a year ago & not well set up for printing. It would have to be a right & left half, so twice the printing time. Also, it probably could only be used as a form & made from fiberglass or ?
Flanges would ruin the sexiness, but packed you'd never get out.
I'll give it another go & post the files soon.

Re: 3D print files
Have you ever tried printing one of these?....even as a proof of concept? Maybe as a 1/4 scale?

Re: 3D print files
Someone could do a project similar to MonsterTube. It would be interesting for the popularization of high potency tubes.

Re: 3D print files
Is this model editable?
I agree with the model but I prefer it to have a larger opening of 3.5 to 3.8 inches.

STL files can be imported into Sketchup (what I use), customized to your size, exported to STL, imported with CURA & printed.
For stronger prints, maybe try the carbon fiber filament. Not transparent but ...
I printed mine with 2mm wall thickness just to see if it fits. Worked fine.
Could print one as a mold for a stronger composite.

Re: 3D print files
For ball stretchers, print them hollow with a hole big enough for lead fishing weights. Not as heavy as solid metal, but print another until you're happy with size & feel.

Re: 3D print files
Time flies...I've got the thing printed now, transparent PETG. But it's not really transparent.
Let's see how the thing turns out in the end, printing took a little over two days because PETG shouldn't be printed too quickly.
I'll report with photos when it's finished.
Has anyone else printed this part?

Re: 3D print files
So the print is finished, the smaller cylinder weighs 350g and is very stable. I printed the larger one "quickly", without filling it.
I just have to try it out again
