Registered nurses performing injections

Post by mfworks »

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with finding someone medically qualified to perform saline / dextrose inflations? Ive had my fair share of medical procedures done and I appreciate how far professional expertise can go to minimize risk.

Where could I find someone like this, are there certified nurses / phlebs that are willing to help given I sign some form of waiver?

Depends on where you live I guess. I've actually read online that some tattoo & body mod shops offer saline infusions now, but I doubt there's a whole lot. Maybe if you live in a large city you'll find someplace near you. Good luck!

Hi Kusnak,

How did you get in touch with the nurse you used?

I'd like to know about this as well and how much it costs for a session. I can't imagine it being cheap tho.

There is a tattoo and piercing place near me that does it but it is expensive $230 au for first litre mainly because of the time it takes and how it restricts their business while it is being done.

That's about $163 usd, that's actually not bad considering its a bit of a niche and time consuming thing.

Yeah I fully get it is reasonable due to how it monopolises half their studio while it is being done, just too expensive to get done when I'm not in a position to share the results with someone in person.
