Needles

Post by jddill »

I have done a lot of n2o but only a little saline. One of the things that stop me is trying to sit so still for so long because of the needle.

I have seen the IV lines where they stick you then pull the riggid needle out leaving the flexible tubing. I think that would be perfect because you would nearly as still or hold the line as tightly once you got it in place.

Does anyone know where you can order these in the states.

Those would be catheter needles, I'm not a fan of the plastic bit. They tend to kink cutting off flow, especially if you move around. I prefer leaving just the needle in...also gives you the possibility to re-adjust the position during the fill should you need to.

I get mine here: https://www.painfulpleasures.com/pierci ... rcing.html.

Have fun and stay safe!

Standard needles are easy to get, any farm supply/Tractor Supply keeps them most sizes in stock.
I just want to try something different, figured if paired with:

I should not have any trouble getting flow and I could get more comfortable.

18g catheter fully inserted and backed out 2mm and sticky taped down works great. Needles spoil the fun for me. I react a bit to metals too.

It only kinks if you pull on it and it backs out. I found iv lines with some flexi rubber on the end to allow some movement but they were out of stock grrr
