Want to start - where can I find information?

Post by bigbigskinny »

I started doing saline inflation and want to combine it with some pumping. However, there's no stickys in this forum - I had to be linked to a helpful PDF for inflation (after I'd already started) and I'm sure there's info on this forum for beginners, but since there's no sticky I don't know where it is.

Could someone point me in the right direction or help me out as a beginner? I see people have equipment, some of it appears to be homemade - I'm also unsure if there's any risks/ techniques in regards to time/ pressure. I'm looking to get huge and I have lots of time and privacy... thanks!

While searching, how about a "Beginners Guide" thread with links to useful threads you've found..
Wonderful package, BTW

Thanks Ender - it doesn't seem like there's a huge crossover between saline inflation and pumping - I'm aware that I'm not going to fit in most of the equipment when inflated. Guessing I'll need to read up more on homemade jar solutions and find a good size for me.

I'm also curious about the whole penis ligament thing. I want to keep mine in-tact. I get the feeling a lot of the bigger guys have snapped theirs, evidenced by how far away from their torso their penis is. It's kinda hot but I don't want to do it - is there a way to avoid it while also getting big?

MRI/CAT scan done while pumped, or even in the tube so we can get an idea of what’s really going on!

I spent some time looking at the Internet Archive of Tiger's site. I couldn't find the PDF attachment. The link for it now leads back to the home page. Here's a page that has some info, however. It's a quick start guide to pumping.

https://web.archive.org/web/20120401023 ... mping.html

The Internet Archive (also known as the Wayback Machine) tries to archive the entire Internet since the Internet started in 1996. I'm sure that it's a monumental task! They have electronic libraries in San Francisco and in Alexandria, Egypt. I'm pretty sure that this time, the library in Alexandria has some smoke detectors and fire suppression equipment. Here's an article about the other great library in Alexandria that Caesar (or somebody else from around that time) burnt down.

The Internet Archive takes "snapshots" of web sites on various dates. The snapshots are sometimes missing attachments and photos, but you can see a site develop over time.

This archive of Tiger's site from May 4, 2013 seems to have a more complete guide to pumping in the "Before You Get Started" section.
https://web.archive.org/web/20130504230 ... temap.html

And this archive from July 5, 2011 has videos that you can download on the Russian Skachka warm-up exercise and tube jacking.

Thanks for all the links - I've tried to put together a shopping list to make my own jar pump from this guide, but I'm struggling (not least because I don't know plumbing hardware terms): https://www.pumptoys.com/lib/makestj.htm

- The jar - I'm not in the US, but I managed to find some online by searching 'jar with tap'. However, I'm not sure if the top or the valve are important - I'd assume the diameter of all the parts needs to match the jar's valve. Here's a jar I found: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kilner-3-Lit ... 3978783050
- Straight female connector - this one is 1/2 BSP Fem x 3/8" - not sure if correct https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brass-Female ... 1417048754
- Support Insert - the guide wants 1/4", but this one specifies in mm - 6mm seems to be closest https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pipe-Tube-In ... 1267006418
- 3 feet of clear vinyl tubing - this doesn't really seem to be a thing over here. The closest thing I found was this - the ID is 0.22", which is very close to 1/4" - it's also 3m rather than 3ft which is a massive difference. Guessing I could cut it down?
- Epoxy putty https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Milliput-Sta ... 2165173986

So all in all, I'm not sure if these are the correct items and I don't know if the small discrepancies in sizing would make it useless. Also, the jar alone costs twice as much as the guide's total price, so it's not a cheap bundle.

I'd be happy to buy a prebuilt solution but they seem incredibly expensive and still only piecemeal. For example, Thickwall, which seems to be the UK specialist for this, sells a cylinder for £170 - and it appears to only be the jar component, which kinda defeats the purpose, at least for me. https://thickwall.co.uk/shop/two-stage- ... d-balls-l/

Is there perhaps an EU/UK guide, which uses localised terms/ item examples?

I understand the Thickwall offering a little better now (you buy a cylinder and a pump and then just hook them up) - at the moment, they don't have the XL one in-stock but the large one is in-stock. https://thickwall.co.uk/shop/two-stage- ... d-balls-l/

Would this be big enough for saline? If I filled up with 2l, I can't imagine being able to even get inside this, given that the diameter of the opening is only 3.5".

This will get you started.

UK Jar.
It's impossible to tell from the photo what kind of plastic is used to make this jar. There are two types of plastic used--it's either flexible or it's not. A flexible jar caves in slightly when you squeeze it. A non-flexible jar is typically made out of some type of hard acrylic plastic. You want a non-flexible jar to withstand the vacuum. The issue with glass is that glass cracks and breaks easily, and if you need to enlarge a hole on a glass jar, it's not easy unless you have the right tools. Anyway, here's a plastic jar I found on Amazon-UK.

UK Tubing:
The tubing in the US is 1/4 inch inside diameter. This item on Amazon-UK looks like the UK equivalent. Tubing is the kind of thing that a hardware shop would sell by the meter, rather than an eBay item. If you can't find 6.35 mm inside diameter tubing at a hardware shop, order it from Amazon. All kinds of machines and equipment from refrigerators to cars use tubing, so it's very much a global thing. You just have to know where to find it.

As for the brass parts: It would be better to find them in a hardware shop than eBay. You don't have to pay shipping and if they're not the right size, you can take them back and get the right ones.

Because a jar has a fairly sharp top edge, you'll need some kind of cushion. If you don't have a cushion, pumping with it will get painful, quickly. I can't find Thickwall's cushion by itself, so you may need to contact them. Somebody found a cushion from another retailer in the UK and posted it here on Newart. I'll try to find the post.

Also, a two-stage cylinder from anybody will cost a LOT more than a large regular cylinder because of all of the seams. A Sun Tea Jar is equivalent to a very large, regular, one-stage cylinder.
