managed to get my 45 ring sorted this morning so here is today's offering.

7 rings @ 10 mm thick provide a nice steady weight. 5 more in the drawer but doubtful i'll get all those on this week. At least now i've got the 45 done, next time i'm on rest i can start straight into these 10's.

To be honest Tiny, i don't know. I'll see if i can weigh one sometime.

8 rings for most of the morning, 7 at 50 mm dia' and the 45 i made at the bottom, all 10 mm. Decided i'd go home for some dinner for a change and added another one, total now 9 and the sun came out for a little while which was ideal for a few pics in the back.

Don't know how long these will stay on before slippage. A decent amount of weight now and quite a stretch. If they do do a runner i'll probably leave them awhile and then go for weights.

Hey Bignlow! You have set the standard for those of looking to stretch to the max! I am sure you have answered this several times,but can you please tell us again where to purchase these rings? I have looked around the internet but can't seem to find the exact ones that have been so successful for you. Thank you for your time!

Mr C, the rings are from a boating supplies here in the UK.Baseline marine to be exact. Most boating/yachting suppliers should have them.

Tinyme, had a weighing session this morning.

The 50 x 10 rings are 4 to the pound so the 8 i had on yesterday plus the 45 one are just over the 2lb mark, just short of a kilo, and stacking up like that, the stretch as well.

The split shaft collars i use as weights are 1lb each.
45 mm i.d. by 19 mm thick.

So, 2 of those with the 45 mm stainless ring again is around the kilo mark, a good 2 lb's and i have 3 of them. Going to go for the weights today, start with one and keep adding.

Just a few from last night.

Bag balm on the warm and that can soak in while the 45 ring and the first weight warms up.

Good stuff! I made the mistake of putting 1.5lbs on in one go the other day just to see if I could squeeze the 39mm weight on. They didn’t last long!

Yes Tiny, you have to start steady and build up the weight and use the smallest ring or weight you can fit to sit at the bottom to try and prevent slippage. Sitting down doesn't help eithe as the balls pull back as you sit.

Weights yesterday. Started with one and the 45 mm ring to take the edge off.each ring is a pound in weight. Fitted a second at dinner and off to the tanning cab for a bit of a warm up.

Added a third later in the afternoon.

That's 3lb's on there until around 9 o'clock last night.
These where late on.

Ring and weights back on the warm this morning and should be on in about half an hour.Start with 2 and go from there.

2 weights Saturday with a third on the warm but didn't get chance to get it on with the lads here to prep' the race car for today.
Got them off Saturday night and back on Sunday when i came to work for some stuff for home. Just the 2 again and they where on till bath time around 8 ish.

My plan was to wear them today while at the races so put them back on for overnight as i'd probably not get chance this morning with the lads here again.

If anyone is interested, i'll be at Belle Vue stadium in Manchester, kick off 3.30. I'll be in the formula 1 paddock with car 424 in dark blue race overalls. If anyone is likely to be there, come and seek me out but before you ask am i Bignlow make sure i'm on my own !! Hope to meet someone...

Last ones for the weights for now. Got them back on Sunday around 1 ish, took them off later that night for bath time and back on again for over night to be wearing them on the Monday, race day. Ended up being a long day and they didn't come off until around midnight.

Once the weights where off...

Then the ring off before a shower and to bed.
back in the tube this morning, been in around 10 mins now and bloody hell it feels good. Bit of a disjointed day today though. half an hour is the most i'll get at the moment. A vehicle test at 1 so need an early dinner. Tube off in around 15 mins and on the warm while i go and find something to eat and straight back in for as long as i can get before having to set off. Once that's done a quick trip down town to the bank and then back in late afternoon. Hoping to be back in the big tube by Thursday.

Just a few from yesterday.

had half an hour mid late morning and got back in at dinner. Could just about manage 40 mins but 10 mins in came out from under the desk and caught the connector under the desk frame and snapped it off. Bugger. Too late to do anything about it i put the big tube on the warm for when i got back and had an hour in that.
