My meatotomy

I've been interested in meatotomy since I was about 14, and I finally decided to take the plunge. I've cut to what I believe to be the bottom of the glans, but I'm not seeing the flaring / separating effect from this video. Do I need to cut further for that kind of separation or is there something else? Any help would be appreciated.

You need to cut further down where the ring is if you stick something in your hole that stretches it out u will feel the resistance of the flesh the more you cut that the bigger gape u will have and when you pump it will flare out like a rose
