My First Sounding Session

Time is tight at present so I didn`t have as long alone as I would have wanted but once my lube arrived I couldn`t resist opening my presents from AliExpress (China) which arrived in England very promptly. Also this report is a bit shorter than deserves.
I did hygene prep on new toys then popped on some porn and began with a steel 4" / 100mm shorty that went from 4mm up to 8mm, virginity out of the way in a minute or less and I wondered what all my stress had been about. A couple of good sensations and thought I was about to pee my hand at one stage but the warm feeling disappeared.
Next I picked a silicone 6" / 150mm flexible that went from 4mm up to 8mm very quickly. Lots of lube and a couple of returns to the steel 4" in between and before long almost all 6" were inside me--the only pain was when moving it back out so I needed to be more generous with the lube but I was trying not to get too messy--hint to next newbie-first time up make sure you have plenty of time and dont need to be concerned about tidy up.
I was just in the middle of doing a video of the silicone 6" being withdrawn when a knock at the door announced another delivery from AliExp. You couldn`t make it up! I chucked the camera away and as fast as I dared got the 6 inches out and pulled on my sweat pants to grab deliveries--penis pumps and presents!
Into my chair and started over again, made a poor vid of the silicone coming out, next time the camera needs a tripod so I have 2 free hands for lube and sounds.
I was going to quit at this point but decided to try the hook shaped one, more to see how the retaining rubber ring would sort out, it`s visually appealing but you would need to be a porn star to perform while wearing one and I doubt one`s partner would be keen.

2 hours later I needed a pee. WOW what a pain right down my shaft that was—maybe I went too far too quickly or just didn`t use enough lube or extracted too quickly when the delivery man buzzed, or should have stuck with steel, whatever, it hurt for sure.
I pushed through it to see if the pain lessened but no, so I eased my squeeze to reduce the flow and things were acceptable. BTW, I have had nurses tell me I have a high pain threshold--or at least when younger! I noticed a tiny bit of red so there must have been a little bleed in there somewhere.
An hour after that my partner started getting frisky and I wasn`t sure how to play it—feign a headache or what! I decided to let things progress and I got hard in her hand BUT during this she did one of those tight grips and I nearly jumped off the bed—WTF was that she asked? I said she just hit a wrong nerve—never happened before she replied. We progressed to intercourse but I held back to make sure I didn`t ejaculate as I didn`t know how that would pan out.
It`s now 5 hours after I finished sounding and peeing is still sore but not as bad.
Anyone care to guess how long this goes on and if pain occurs after every session?

It`s now more than 12 hours after first session and I just had my morning pee, a bit of pain but not in the same league as yesterday and no sign of blood so fingers crossed I`m on the mend. I will use a long thin steel today if I get a chance to play.

30 hours after session and I had a pain free piss--yeehaa. Let`s not count any chickens just yet, any pros advise how long to wait between sessions and how long before it`s reasonable to assume no infections?

thanks for that, I will buy a fresh tube of vaseline and hope it`s clean enough. I got a good deal on 4 tubes of Medcosa sterile lube and used that along with a fresh KY jelly.
I will probably stick to metal sounds until everything opens up better, it did seem that the most resistance was during extraction.
Can anyone comment on having intercourse with a sound inserted?

I found that water-based lubes (which include most "silicone" lubes nowadays) are initially sticky, and then dry out quickly. When used for sounding they don't dry out, but they seem to lose their lubrication ability after a while. Getting a large sound out sometimes takes more effort than getting it in.

Oil-based lubes (including vaseline) are much better for sounding. My favorite so far is called "Elbow Grease", which comes in a jar with a picture of an upraised fist, suggesting the product's original intent. Works great for sounding, though.
