More advice needed on clamp and cut etc

OK, so will be going for it once the numbing cream arrives!
One question, how much to clamp and cut for a first time cut, 5mm, 10mm?
Second question how long normally is the healing time? I am 63yrs and as with most things, with age things slow down....
I intend to cut down the middle of my frenulum, to leave half of it, either side of the cut and the start of my sub incision. I don't intend to cut so far, just so that I can perhaps, sound with a little finger.
As you see from my photo, my frenulum is quite thick.
Any suggestions much appreciated, as, I am a little nervous, but quite excited also.
Any advice or suggestions, much appreciated.

The thing to remember is you only cut half the length of the clamped area. So that depends on the length you clamp then cut half of that. The reason for this is to avoid any unnecessary bleeding. Do not even think about exceeding or going near to the end of the clamped area.

What about healing time, more or less, for a man of my age (63)?

I would use the bind method. It also heals faster.
The binding method is described very well in this forum. Binding goes like this. The frenulum is punctured with a needle as close to the glans as possible. Then a thin, strong thread is pulled through and tied tightly. After 1-2 weeks, the knot will unravel and the frenulum will be severed. You just have to work clean and sterile to prevent infection.

I found the healing times for the head 2 weeks I am 62 btw. If you venture into the shaft when you have got through the head in this area it took me just under a month.
