I'm now officially motivated. I have a 0ga RPA that is in danger of migrating out, leaving me with a split glans. This definitely looks doable without losing the jewelry. Thanks!

If it hasn't fully migrated yet, the slot can be closed back up with a quick outpatient surgical procedure; basically cutting a bit of skin on each side and some stitches.
A similar procedure can also tighten up a migrated PA instead of closing it completely, but if it migrated once, it will probably migrate again.
I don't think an upward PA is going to go anywhere, though.
