wasn't online for a few days, so sorry for the delay.
It turned out benzocaine is only available around here in lozenges against a sore throat. So I have to wait until I am in some foreign place, where it is available - or then in the Americas, which is quite far away. Lidocaine spray, which I tried instead, is good in numbing for about 30+ mins or so but has had no lasting effects for me.
