I don't understand the motivation behind that but if a man wants to have breasts like a woman that's his personal choice. He should just think about the consequences beforehand if he's not going the whole way, meaning the rest of his body will look like that of a typical male.

If you are considering transition or into crossdressing then this is not an unusual question. Have you carefully consider the consequences of what a SO or strangers may think and say? Would that bother you, really, long term?? If not then go for it.

To be honest, it's something I've been considering myself.

For me, it's not about crossdressing or full transition but about becoming someone having characteristics of both sexes. I've felt my whole life that both male and female lifestyles, roles and stereotypical behavior fit me. I don't see it as necessarily a transgender thing - rather about physical manifestation of a state of mind.
Like mixing physical features of things I think charcterize me.

But the problem is that it doesn't fit very well with my career choices - the society that my success depends on would most likely not accept it, thus hindering my other plans. (I won't mention financial constrains of such required surgeries)

And given that with current technology, any modifications would always be just a compromise, I think I would not take this path. I think I will limit to less apparent genital modifications, maybe tongue splitting and such.

BUT I still struggle with the thought that to open eyes of others or alleviate fears of others desiring such things, we need those who dare.
So, should I be a pioneer and do it? Suffer some inconvenience but be certain to be helping to make the world better, more open place?

Would YOU become such a pioneer and do it? Live your dreams, be yourself, inspire others? Would you, a man, get breast implants?

Believe it or not I kind of find the idea of a guy with breasts appealing.. in a perfect world, I might get some myself.

i know this is an old, old thread, but this is something that i am REALLY interested in, and am planning to get done in the next ten years (after getting myself into such a secure financial position that i don't have to worry about the (economic) consequences. originally, i thought i was just into guys with breast implants, because it is REALLY HOT, and as a top, i thought having tits would be more of a bottom/submissive thing. until about two years ago, when i hooked up with a german doctor who specializes in "vacation breasts" who was vacationing here in florida, and because i've always had a huge fetish for guys with breast/breast implants, i was talked into trying it out myself. i don't know how much he injected, but my tits looked HUGE to me. it hurt a bit at first, and as others said, the boobs were hard at first, but then softened up. i thought they looked and felt INCREDIBLE. went out to a club wearing a tight top over my tits, and i was so turned on i almost CAME! they lasted through the evening but were mostly gone when i got up the next morning (which was good since i was going to the beach the next afternoon!) this AMAZING experience convinced me that i wasn't just an admirer of guys with breasts, but wanted to have breasts myself. in the future i WILL get implants!

My turn...….I used to have a FINE weight lifters body 6 years ago....But as I turned 50, heredity said its time for my grandparents genes to kick in...Even tho I went to the gym and ate right, there was no stopping the genes.....I turned a little pudgy and my once defined chest now had 2 boobs there...Not big, just a handful...

Some of my bi friends started complementing me on how well I aged and it looked good to have "man boobs"....I am bi and when a guy is taking me, the first thing he reaches for are my man boobs...I have come to appreciate them...I find them sexy on other guys also...…

One of my friends liked the look so much he had the implants put in....He is masculine, furry and looks like a model....The implants enhanced his looks...….He went for the smallest.....His job is in the corporate world so he is very careful on the things he does...His surgeon had a good recommendation-----collect pics of stocky guys that have "man boobs"....And when you have a good collection, look them over and take to the surgeon....

@bosco bear — i'm not as concerned about what people in my field would think — i'm a hairstylist/nail tech/makeup artist— and my having boobs probably wouldn't shock that many people— i just want to be financially prepared for both surgery and life.

Search "saline infusion breasts" on your favorite search engine. It's basically the same procedure as saline infusion of the scrotum. It's a temporary thing; six to twelve hours for most people, before most of the saline is absorbed and spread away from the site.

It's mostly a female thing; unless you had clearly defined manboobs to start with, you might need to do breast pumping to get the shape you wanted, until the tissues stretch enough.

They're "real but temporary" and it's cheap to do, and it would let you experience "real" breasts before deciding on something more permanent.
