One possibility when pumping your cock is to wear a condom. This should help with swelling and donuts around the head of your cock. I also have found that pumping at lower pressures (4-6 Hg) for 15 min intervals with a 1 minute break in between for 1-3 hrs seemed to make a much bigger difference than either pumping with higher pressure or longer durations.

low and slow... higher pressure just lead to injury. took me a full year to recover from head blisters from higher pressure trying to "rush" the process. I get everything I need below 6"hg. I don't even use a hand pump any more, just tubing and a cheap pinch off clip, use your mouth to generate vacuum.
