I noticed you packed some gauze into the cut to keep it separated and then wrapped your penis in a bandage. Wouldn't it have been better to also insert a short length of tubing (say part of a catheter, or even a full catheter) so that you wouldn't disturb the cut when you pee? What did happen the first time you urinated?
