We've had this idea for a few weeks, how fun it would be to pee fluorescent, under blacklight. We have all the necessary equipment, sterile catheter, gloves, and sterile fluorescein aswell. This fluorescein solution is generally used intravenously, and in some cases it can cause side effects.

Asking those with medical skills... if we inject a fluorescein-sodium - sterile water solution into the bladder via a catheter, what could be the side effect, if any? (apart from the UTI, but we always do maintain a very sterile procedure when playing with catheters, no UTI so far)

Urine already fluoresces but if you wanted to make it more so then niacin and riboflavin both fluorescent and excreted in the urine and are safe(ish) in massive doses.
