Im new tothis forum...been stuffing since I was a teen...best I can do at present is 13mm rosebud sound. My meatus is easilly big enough but I have about 3 points further down where my urethra is restricted...tight spots. The 13 mm rosebud will pop thru these points with some discomfort...Im wondering iff this is normal...or...did I injure my urethra in the past, and its healed with scar tissue which resists being stretched? Any ideas?

I am in the same situation. Stretching since puberty.
I was at 14 about 2 years ago. Then I left a plug in 24/7 for about 4 days. After that I had heavy bleeding and a stricture at about 6cm, exactly where the plug ended.
I had to start with 8mm again and now I am back to 14. Still there is the narrow part after 6cm that takes a while for the sound to go through.
I do not remember, that I had that before my liddle accident.

The distance between the external meatus and the urethra via the urethral navicular fossa is about 5 cm. The urethra, which comes after the fossa navicularis urethrae, is much smaller in diameter, so there is resistance when inserting plugs or dilators. In order to get further there you first have to stretch the urethra, which is very tedious. This is best done with dilators and daily exercise.

I use a penis plug with a diameter of 18mm and a length of 5cm. The plug always remains inserted. You can always leave your 8-7mm plug inserted, otherwise you won't have a stretching effect. My 18mm .5cm plug always stays in. I only take it out for cleaning, washing my penis and masturbating. With the plug I can urinate nicely targeted. The penis has gotten used to the plug, so I don't feel the plug at all. In addition, the appearance of the meatus extrenum has improved. It is good to close the plug with your finger a few times a day so that the urine has to flow around the plug. As a result, the meatus is hydraulically stretched and the mucous membrane is cleaned and kept moist.
