500 cc how long before its in?

How long does it take for 500 cc to get in? I'm counting 1 drip a second, is that normal?

At 1 drip per second it will take a 2 hours and 46 minutes. You get 20 drips per cc, and you have 500ccs, so that's 10,000 drips, do the math, 10,000 / 60 = 166 minutes

Well ... i'm assuming it's in by now ... given the time stamp on the post and all !!! How many drips per ml is determined by the tubing you use. There are several common drip factors for tubing ... it may define this on the tubing label. Typically they are in 10, 12, 20, or 60 drops per ml (cc). Then it's just a matter of math. When it comes the how fast you should infuse the fluid, it depends on how comfortable the infusion is going for you. I tend to infuse quite slowly. A liter can sometimes take me 2 hours. It also depends on what solution you are infusing ... my D5/0.9 saline blended solutions I go much slower with. If I'm using plain D5, I can go MUCH faster, 500ml in like 15-20 minutes. Just listen to what your scrotum "tells" you ... if it stings or hurts, slow it down ... speed it back up and continue until your scrotum tells you to slow down again. I watched several guys at the pumpers weekend in Palm Springs go VERY quickly with plain saline solution. Just depends. I hope that helps !!

when i start infusing, i took one liter in maybe one hour. now when my sack is stretched and i learned how to put needle properly, i can make one liter under 20 minutes. but it is only first liter. second have to be injected slower, because of skin stretching. have fun

My needle was too small, so i ordered bigger ones. That went better !!
